The Marin Ski Club is a sporting and
social
organization of individuals and families from Marin County, CA,
active
in winter sports.
The club was founded in 1938 as the Marin Skate and Ski
Club.
In 1958, the Club purchased property
in Soda Springs California near
Sugar Bowl Ski Area and Donner Summit.
Over the next several years,
members designed
and built a 3,300 square foot Lodge from the ground up...

To become a member of MSC, you
need to be at least 21 years of age and must be sponsored by an active MSC
member. Prospective members are required to complete the following:
-
3 winter visits to the Lodge
with their sponsor
-
Attend 2 monthly membership
meetings
-
Participate in one social
event as part of the social committee
-
Participate in one summer
work weekend

Attend one Board meeting

We are located near beautiful Sugarbowl in Soda Springs, CA. We had an exceptional amount of snow this last winter, hoping for the same next year!

The kitchen outfitted with two sinks, two refrigerators, a large vintage
commercial stove, many large drawers used for storing
individual's dry goods and a large dining table.
Our spacious A-frame living
room has ample seating, a game table, bar area and a large stone fireplace framed
by windows.
